Les maisons des alpes | Maison J.A. Carrel

Our intervention took place in Cervinia, frazione Avouil, a village that linked its existence to Jean Antoine Carrel and to the conquest of the Matterhorn.

The structure will be built inside the 18-hole Golf course, between the hole number 10 and number 5, allowing all the visitors to live a fantastic experience in the nature, between sport and relax, letting themselves being captured by the mountain atmosphere. Everything, with a breathtaking view on the massive Matterhorn.

The Avouil village is also renowned for being the starting point of the historic conquest of the Matterhorn.

The effort of Maisons des Alpes is that of bringing back to life the ancient village of Avouil through a renovation project that will find its major characteristics in the accurate restoration of the original hamlet with a specific intervention aimed at conjugating the typical alpine village atmospheres with all the comforts typically offered by the most innovative structures.

We have intervened in the supplying and laying of the douglas fir roof coverings and dormers, of the external brushed larch sidings as well as that of the stunning hand-crafted balconies and of the external fences.

Inside the structure, we have used heat-treated larch for the floor. Wisely crafted by the our expert carpenters, the internal décor, bardage, suspended ceilings and garrets fully satisfied our client's requests and expectations.
